As you've probably seen by now, the Union is holding a referendum on whether or not Imperial College Union should support the strike action due to be carried out by the UCU during the 2021/22 academic year. This referendum is a really important opportunity to get your voice heard.
If you would like to persuade other students to vote for or against the referendum, you can register to be part of the yes or no campaign! You can register to become a campaigner through this form. If you have not signed up, you will not be able to campaign.
Campaigners are also required to attend a briefing session on Tuesday 23 November at 14:30. In this session, you will learn about the rules of campaigning during the referendum and the budget for campaigning. If you can’t attend, you can still campaign, and we will send you the slides.
Once your sign up has been received, you will then be given the contact details of the leaders of each campaign, and be sent the slide deck with the rules.
Voting will run next week from 24 to 26 November. Don’t forget to cast your vote, and be part of the conversation.
