This year for World Mental Health Day, I wanted to focus on why mental health and wellbeing matters so much for us at university. Whether you’re a returning student, or a first year starting out, it can be an overwhelming time and often we don’t realise that our mental health is starting to worsen until we’re in the middle of a crisis.
Students have a lot of different motivations for standing as Liberation and Community Officers – these are rewarding positions that offer the chance to affect real change within Imperial. We spoke to Grace Fisher about her motivations for joining the Working-Class Network and her journey towards standing as Working-Class Officer.
