At RSM Football, we like to think of ourselves as one of the most social sports societies at Imperial. We compete in the same University of London Leagues as most of the other teams at Imperial and take gamedays just as seriously, but we also believe that the social element is the most important, with regular team gatherings and socials planned throughout the season.
In addition, members get to take part in the prestigious Bottle Match versus the lowly CSM - something that all RSM teams get to look forward to, with an atmosphere fitting for the 2nd oldest varsity match in the world.
With games Saturday and Wednesday most weeks there is always the need for depth in the squad and with several players leaving us this year there is no reason not to give us a go. Any player, RSM or not, is welcome and you'll get the chance to take part in Freshers Training at the start of the year.
We pride ourselves in having the most cohesive, enjoyable and enthusiastic football side at Imperial College. 'A team is the sum of all its parts', and we encourage our members to get involved in every training session, match and social that they can!
